Meet The Djs

DJ KRAZZY KRIS: Often described as energetic, cutting edge and aggressive… DJ Krazzy Kris is known to take control of the dance floor with extended high-energy mixes that energize the crowd!  Her turntable dominance began in Houston where she was an MC hyping the crowds, to hanging out with a friend who exposed her to the world of DJing; this is where her natural talent exploded! DJ Krazzy Kris has been a DJ/radio personality for 93.7 JAMZ; she is a proud member of Lesbians of Color, the 2019 Outsmart Magazine’s runner-up for Best Wedding DJ and Favorite DJ.  One of her most outstanding achievements is being the MC/DJ for the record-breaking crowd of over 800,000 at the 2018 & 2019 Houston Pride Festival.  Always wearing her signature big smile, Kris knows the power of giving her audience a quality experience and gives nothing less each time! 

DJ SHANI SCOTT: Houston, TX native by way of Dallas, Shani began her career working with various radio groups. The Founder of Media Room 360 LLC, she is a published author, Stroke Survivor, Breast Cancer Survivor and Domestic Violence Survivor! A graduate of Full Sail University, where she earned her Associate Degree in Media Communications, DJ Shani Scott is also TEDx Talk speaker and actress; she is one of the first black female radio programmers in East Texas. She also works with various organizations, including the Texas Black Women’s Coalition for HIV/AIDS, The American Stroke Association, and The American Heart Association.

DJ FAZE: Drummer, Producer, your favorite DeeJay … DJ FAZE has always been fascinated with all varieties of music. She has played in most of Shreveport’s hottest bars and clubs, with several appearances at many city-wide events!  In 2022 DJ Faze and her dynamic mixing and partying skills appeared robustly at the first nationally known Dancefestopia Festival! DJ Faze’ has set a primary goal… to spread love, happiness, and fun through music. Her message: ANYONE can do ANYTHING if you put your mind to it.

DJ LEXX: Serial entrepreneur and native of Shreveport, LA… DJ Lexx got her start when her mom took her to a radio station to get music for her first gig, and the station offered her an internship on the spot! A graduate of the University of New Orleans with a degree in Music Production, she also belongs to Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. Adding to her DJ finesse, Lexx hosts the Rachet City Music Fest and owns a graphic design/promotion company… The Promo Pack, which offers website design, graphics, logos and flyers, plus other promotional needs

DJ CHEVI RED: Originally from Cleveland, OH… DJ Chevi Red taught herself how to DJ and move the crowd; once she created her own magical style… she has been turning heads ever since. A flavorful blend of Black and Puerto Rican descent, her tagline is “mixed like my beats” … meaning her music mixes are as balanced and stunning as she is. Her DJ name was created from her first name Chevalier, and her love of red lipstick. Chevi says,  â€œred lipstick is bold, fierce and means I don’t come to play games.” In citing her process for each show, DJ Chevi Red says, “I play for the people. I read the crowd, figure out what gets them moving and continue flowing with that vibe. I only take gigs where I know I can be myself and enjoy what I am spinning. After all, it’s critical that your DJ has a good time too!”

DJ MILLI MILLS: DJ, actress, superstar… DJ Milli Mills served as an extra in the 1993 Tom Cruise blockbuster movie, “The Firm”… and popular Ebony Magazine chose her as one of the Top 25 Most Successful Black Female Singles in America.  Milli Mills has been the voice behind many local and regional radio and TV commercials while also appearing in several TV spots. Milli added to her repertoire by accepting an invitation from Virgin/Rap-A-Lot artist Tela to appear on his album The World Ain’t Enough, where she performed dialogue bits and chorus hooks. Milli relocated to Texas, formed alliances with producers and entertainment icons in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and expanded her business to a higher level of success. Milli later enhanced her business by earning a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.
